GIVEAWAY (With a Side of Encouragement) from Anchor Studio 619

M.Gioeli Photography Winston Salem, NC

Hi Everyone! Allie Tucker here. I’m a work-from-home graphic artist/mom/business co-owner (confused yet?) who enjoys long walks to the refrigerator and my out of control t-shirt collection. I met my husband, Joseph, at youth summer camp when I was 15 and ironically he is now the youth director at our church. We have two boys – Titus (4) & Case (18 mo) and my days are anything but quiet. I’m obsessed with chocolate chip cookies, jurassic park & most of all Jesus.

I hope that last word didn’t just blend in with the rest of my intro because He really is everything. Without Jesus, my life would be completely meaningless and dull. With Him, incorruptible JOY. “Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” – 1 Peter 1:8-9

That said, I still get angry way too quickly and yell at my kids. I still would rather be a hermit and never be hospitable to others. I still think judgmental thoughts about people I don’t even know. I still slip up and say hurtful things to my husband without thinking.

You’re probably thinking, “dang – why did Megan ask this chick to guest post?” Trust me – I thought the same thing. I’m not anywhere close to perfect, which is why I’m thankful for a Savior who IS and who is working on my heart every moment. Just tryin to be real in this picture “perfect” world…

So considering life is really hard sometimes and I mess up OFTEN, I must continually be reminded of what God did for me, and for all of us. As you can probably guess, I need lots of encouragement to stay focused.

I need that encouragement when life isn’t so nice. I need it when the kids are sick and I’m sleep deprived. I need it when I start to let lies about who I am creep inside my head… when work is starting to overwhelm me… when my marriage is struggling. I have to keep God’s word on the forefront of my mind or else, I freaking lose it! Just sayin.

M.Gioeli Photography Anchor Studios shares about how God is in her life

This is one of the reasons my close friend Caitlin and I started Anchor Studio 619, a design and stationary shop. We design prints that encourage… art that reminds you of your purpose… words that point you to the Savior of the world. We also offer invitations, logos, etc. and just simply love creating. As Megan uses her creative gifts to capture memories of you and your family, we use ours to hopefully encourage you and your family.

This was a fun read explaining your comoany. I enjoy personality in blog posts instead of lectures from the writers on how to be! I read the whole thing and chuckled at reaching “bomb” status. 😉 Can’t wait for the newsletters.

    1. I’m glad you enjoyed it Cheryl and actually read all of it ;)! Thank you so much for the support!
